Flight was on time, crew were excellent. For some reason our originally selected seats were changed. We had to re-choose our seats when we checked in online and options were limited. One of our two checked bags we placed on the wrong carousel. It was only be shear luck that I saw it. That cost us 20 minutes of wasted time. So much for the “priority” tags. They are meaningless, and have been ever since they were implemented. I wish you would do the save some money and stop using them.
Delayed by 2.5hrs any longer and they would’ve had to honour their own policy for breaking their own rules and regs. Not cool, especially when I have an infant child that needs to stay on a routine and they get schedules.
Really solid flight! The in-flight entertainment screens are not very touch-responsive in the way that of other airlines’ are, which was my only issue. But otherwise we had good food and drink offerings and the flight attendants were very welcoming.
Your seats in the last 5 rows are terrible. My knees were jammed into the seat in front of me and the lady sitting there decided to recline it. Jammed my knees bad. I don’t know if I’ll fly United again.
The passenger in the row in front of me was listening to a political speech on his phone at full volume with no headphones and it was disturbing all of the passengers around him for several rows. I asked 2 of the flight attendants to speak to this passenger but they only shrugged. It was obvious that they were afraid there might be conflict and would not say anything. I had to take it upon myself to tell the passenger that he needed to turn it off or wear headphones as it was disturbing everyone around him not wearing their own headphones. I was very disappointed in the United flight attendants.
The flight was bumpy. No Breakfast or coffee was served, not even a bottle of water. The food was okay but odd. Rice with peas instead of couscous with some unknown green thing. United Airlines did not tell me that there was VERY LIMITED HANDICAP SERVICE IN NAPLES. De-plane via 20 aluminum steps. Taken to Van. You must walk into the terminal, find luggage, and then walk out to the rental car pickup spot that is 1 block from the terminal.
Terrible. They canceled our flight home after a two hr delay because after cleaning the plane the crew timed out. Offered no help with hotels, saying all hotels were booked. Only way to get help was via an online chat. Land crew were rude, uninformed, and could care less when we explained this was creating a medical emergency, referencing us to the airport doctor if we wanted help. We got booked on non direct flights for 48hrs later. Absolutely horrible customer service.
The departure was delayed by 1 hour. The seat was comfortable and selection of entertainment is very good.
Some sort of compensation for missing work because of a cancelled flight that was United’s fault
Putting carryone size suitcase into the overhead luggage storage on a the small CR900 plane was cumbersome and its assignment to a far far gate w/o the moveable ramps at YYZ arrivals really stunk.
Boarding needs to be organized. There were 3 lines and much cutting off!!
Very good. But seat selection was not good. We were put on different rows. Would have been nicer to sit besides each other as a couple.
I liked the plane, a Boeing 787. Having to buy food on a domestic flight (although now common on other airlines too) is an irritant.
Staff were amazing but there check in machines need a major update! Absolutely horrible machines the staff were so sweet and helped but everyone. Was in need of help. They need to update it
Could have a somewhat larger snacks. Appreciate the free wine.
Take off and landing and also the crew were excellent, just we could not received one of our suitcases at Ottawa at the same time we got there, but the associate at Ottawa airport were very nice and helpful so we could receive it on 16th of September.
My place was cancelled at the last minute throwing my traveling schedule off. I barely made it on the last ferry home.
How slow the security process was and the fact that I had to do it twice - once in Victoria and again in Vancouver - even tho I didn't leave the airport
More room for carry-on. Or having people bring correct carry-on.
