Overall, a great experience from food and crew. The only setback was that this was the Second flight from Air New Zealand within a week that was an hour late for boarding.
The flight attendances were very helpful and friendly ! Dinner and breakfast were great . The seat was not too comfortable though .
The air New Zealand employees who assisted us with wheelchair aid on Auckland made our transfer from flight to the next seamless. Also were amazing in helping with our luggage and customs in Brisbane.
New Zealand crew were attentive. We were not informed that we needed transit document to pass through New Zealand. A checkin employee helped with this for which we were thankful.
Overall good. We had to transfer to Bradly terminal. We had requested wheelchair assistance. The bus that picked us up had to wait for other passengers. The wait was long. Then, at the Bradly terminal we had to wait an extended period of time for the wheel chair assistance. These delays caused tension at checked in and resulted in arriving at the gate as passengers were boarding.
The boarding process was less than ideal. While I liked being greeted with “Kia Ora”, the rest of the process was very average for business-class travel — queue, crowding, no clear separation between economy and business premier. The aircraft felt old, even though I believe it was only 6 years’ old. Travelling in Business Premier in Air New Zealand is like sitting in a glass bowl. One can see everyone, and everyone can see others. Very bad structuring of seats. If you have a choice, fly another airlines like Singapore Airlines for business — I had the option, but chose this flight due to it’s departure time. Regrettable decision. I had opted for Vegan food choice. Very poor food as well as service. It is as if the chefs preparing the meal have little idea what nutritious, healthy and filling plant-based food is. And the crew were totally uncoordinated. In the main dinner meal, the first thing I was served was a fruit bowl, and then followed by other items. No mention was made that the fruit bowl (served first) was the dessert! And then after my meal tray was cleared another steward (not the one who served the main meal) comes around asks me that now that I had had the would like the dessert. I said yes, please. He went off and comes back to tell me discreetly that I’ve already had my dessert! He also didn’t know what the dessert was — and I guess it was the fruit platter that was the first item I was served. I was traveling with partner, who had similar experience. For her, they just cleared her table without offering dessert. Extremely poor coordination. The area behind the seats was extremely dirty. I just happened to use the overhead light to try and locate something that had fallen, only to be horrified at the dust, crumbs and all kinds of other particles. The only good thing about the flight was that when it ended, our bags came very very quickly. But that I guess is more to do with airport operations for Air New Zealands at Auckland Airport rather than the flight itself. I would think very hard next time I have to fly Business Premier in New Zealand, especially on Boeing 787-9NZM, which this plane was. Basically if you are selecting seats and find that they are at a diagonal angle, do not book this if you are looking for luxurious travel. Better off with premium economy or a good economy seat. The quality of food and service indeed was way below par.
Can you please process refund. Mum died and dad went to Pakistan to bury her after cancelling flight.
Short flight so no entertainment, turbulence so no food service - overall flight as expected
All was good, the only thing was it didn't run on time.
Everything was great from the staff to the seats and food. The plane was timely taking off and landing.. I couldn't have asked for a better experience (especially on such a long flight)
Good communication regarding any updates time of flight and flight delayed. The fight was delayed by two and half hours at eleventh hour. That was unexpected, especially when you international passenger.
The service was excellent. The quarters were a little cramped in Economy, and we had to exist there for 18 hours.
Terrible. 6 hour delay with no explanations and only 15 dollars in food credits. A disaster. I'll just leave it at that.
We lucked out. The passenger who was supposed to be in our row changed her seat, so my husband and I had 3 seats for the 2 of us. We were able to stretch out a little which made the trip much more tolerable.

We paid for business class seats for the comfort that comes with that but couldn’t use the bathroom as it was full all the time.
Flight is overpriced. Quality of service is poor. Constant delays. This flight again was multiple times delayed. The relaxed and careless attitude of staff is appalling. People are busy and it does matter if we do things more efficiently than chilled out. Once the flight was ready to depart we had more delays due to the careless approach of boarding passengers. Food is highly processed with limited options and super unhealthy. Leg room is shockingly bad. Even the biz class is pretty bad. Coupled with the horrendous prices Qantas only benefits given Australia is their home market. Otherwise they are not competitive at all.
Great flight and attendants. Seating is a bit weird. The extra price seats aren’t too worth it.
Top notch service, good selection of snack and meal options, generous accommodation for luggage, and great selection of in cabin entertainment. I really appreciate the offering of pillows, blankets, sleep mask, tb&paste, and earplugs. The only complaint I can make was that my seat was horribly uncomfortable and lacked cushion.
boarding was uneventful. Snack was pathetic. A tiny fruit bar. Entertainment was limited to just select movies on your own tablet or phone. No live TV. I recently flew Jetblue and they had unlimited snacks and live satellite TV the entire flight. My seat was an exit seat, 20A. It was super uncomfortable. It felt cramped and the middle seat was taken up by a large woman who pushed into my shoulder and arm. Horrible flight.
The first flight was an hour and a half late leaving, thus missing my connection. The second flight Departure was two hours late Leaving.
Never nice, United Express partners always do an amazing job.
The flights were great. Although late departing Cancun, the staff at the airport did a great job in rebooking us on a later flight leaving Newark for Ottawa. With the delay, we would not have made our original flight. They also pulled our bags and retagged them. Wonderful job.
There was no room in overhead bin to place our luggage despite we had tree seats. It means a lot of people had more than 1 carry on bags. When I asked a crew member to help she said that it was not her responsibility.
Checked my bag despite paid the seat upgrade and there was plenty of space available in the overhead bin.
Preferred the UA flight compared to the Air India. The seats were more comfortable and the food was good enough.
I was lucky to sit in a seat with legroom in economy . The airplane felt like it was 100 years old, seats were very basic, barely reclined. Food was alright , staff was ok but not the friendliest. But all in all ok trip, perfectly on time
Fabulous! Plane was full a couple of months ahead of time and there were no seats available for purchase. Not the airlines fault but maybe they should offer more flights on that route! Thanks
The flight from Cleveland to Newark was great. The connecting flight wasn’t so good.
The flight from CLE to JFK was fantasti! Pilots and cre were informative and accommodating.
The flight was very smooth, crew were fantastic but food was lacking.
The best thing about AA is that the onboard entertainment allows me to watch on my iPad. This was not working. USB ports were not working and the flight attendant said they often don’t work. The flight attendants, one in particular, were uncaring. I was very disappointed.

Deparature was late, which is annoying but the arrival was fine and the baggage came early.
No explanation of why there was no snack and drink service (unless requested) when there was service in the other direction.

Service was excellent with the staff they all did an fantastic job well done 👏. But the entertainment with the wifi service was very bad couldn't login to read or watch a movie. An also I couldn't get any rest because there was some ppl making noise talking along with kids was misbehaving. Also I prefer person u there head phone while using there devices . But it was a very smooth flight. Thanks you all 😀😀
While the airline gas made a significant improvement in terms of service, the following could bolster the level of service event more: 1) distribute the headphones before takeoff 2) be more mindful when driving the cart during meal time by not smashing it to the armrests of the isleside seats 3) be more mindful not pushing the arm and/or shoulder of passengers that are seated while passing the isle when having wider hips

I book my air canada flight and i am an aeroplan card holder however I was required to pay for my first check-in bag. Terrible experience
Was nice to have plug in and TV screen on seat back. Didn't have either on rouge flights. Staff was excellent.
Announcement of flight cancellation when we were at the gate for boarding. Yelling that the only thing they would do is hand out taxi or hotel voucher. Group of us were travelling to the same location and we were not accommodated to travel together. I was sent to Montreal with barely enough time to make connecting flight and when I got to La Guardia my luggage was sent to Newark. I got a damaged suitcase next night (after 11 pm).
Leg room limited compared with previous flight from Hong Kong. Other than that. Still good value.
5 day of cancellations and errors. Several days due to weather and several due to broken planes. Nightmare
Air Canada did nothing for me when my flight got delayed and canceled and I had to spent the entire day in the airport and spend money on a hotel room, plus lose money on a car rental
I didn't actually get to take this flight. It was canceled and the automated system rerouted my party of four (including a minor and a person in a wheelchair) to three different airports. Since we had a three hour drive from Newark this was clearly unacceptable. For all of us to end up in Newark would have required waiting at least one day, probably longer.
Terrible. Flight in the morning was circling in air for 45 min due to weather then rerouted to a location further than the final destination to refuel. Sat on tarmac for almost 2 hrs to refuel. Flight was originally to land at 9:30am, we arrived at 2pm and then waited another 30 “for an agent”. Then afternoon return flight was delayed again 3 times for weather then cancelled. Auto rebooked was for the next evening! Just miserable.
El, the trans actions indicated that the purchase and flight was by Air Canada. I over when I get to the airport. Air Canada says no that’s a United airline ticket. I was redirected to the United airline counter to check in. It was impossible for me to check in prior to the airport because Air Canada and recognize my reservation or ticket number.
