reliable, relatively relaxed, with helpful staff in all 8 flights we had on this trip. They are solid even though we did not have special seating or status for the flights.
Only complaint is that the entertainment system wasn’t working on our seats and some others.
Very slow boarding, 1 hour late - uncomfortable chairs and crew barely speaking english even at the airport!
The flight itinerary was changed 3 times, I explain the problem on the previous leg.
Airline changed our itinerary several times (3). The second time, we were not aware of it, we landed at 7:24 pm and the flight depart time was 7:40 pm. We were not aware of this change and the flight departed without us, that made us being placed on an even later flight which was also delayed.
Flight never happened because of previous flight delay. Sent back to the stays on a flight 10 hrs later without making to my final destination and still waiting full rugindo for it. So yeah not a good experience
4 hours delay, awful food and missed all my connections because of the delay to be rebooks for a flight 10 hrs later back home and never actually make it to my final destination
The Flight was delayed in 2,5 hours. 1 hour inside the airplane then we passangers were not allowed to receive food as the local regulariam determines (for delays bigger than 2 hours)
The boading process was fine. Had to wait for bus from tarmac to terminal. Had to go through 2 or 3 security checkpoints in Lima to make next connecting flight.
Routine and on time flight with pleasant stewards and decent food. Nice experience!
The old Plane had not been cleaned properly in a long time.
Boarding was over 3 hrs late and we didn’t land until almost 1:30am
I disliked the fact that they forced people to put up their seats during meal service
Delayed and missed connection, was not re-booked like other travelers so ended up being stuck for several hours due to no one handling my booking.

Everything was great from the staff to the seats and food. The plane was timely taking off and landing.. I couldn't have asked for a better experience (especially on such a long flight)
The service was excellent. The quarters were a little cramped in Economy, and we had to exist there for 18 hours.
Good - better than other airlines in terms of food and seat comfort.
Flight is overpriced. Quality of service is poor. Constant delays. This flight again was multiple times delayed. The relaxed and careless attitude of staff is appalling. People are busy and it does matter if we do things more efficiently than chilled out. Once the flight was ready to depart we had more delays due to the careless approach of boarding passengers. Food is highly processed with limited options and super unhealthy. Leg room is shockingly bad. Even the biz class is pretty bad. Coupled with the horrendous prices Qantas only benefits given Australia is their home market. Otherwise they are not competitive at all.
The flight was good, long obviously but smooth. The seats are pretty small, definitely notice a difference for long haul compared to Emirates or Cathay Pacific it’s more like medium haul seating for space. Food options were good, children’s meals were good for my fussy 3yo.
Frustrated with the check-in experience. Too much 'we say, they say' going on resulting in extra fees for me and 35 minutes at the counter.
Departure more than an hour later. Conexion/waiting time at the airport was more than 7 hours :(

Check in agent was helpful and nice. Flight was OK. Our flight in Chicago was delayed 8 hours without an explination. This was our journey home. After a horrible flight experience on on the way to our vacation where our plane was diverted for an emergency medical issue, was grounded for hours, we missed our connecting flight by 25 minutes, and it took a day yo get re-booked, this was yet another bad experience that American seemed unwilling to help out with, much less compensate us for the
The staff were very nice! However when our first flight got delayed an hour, the second connection flight was not delayed and the layover was only 40 minutes. When we rushed and made it to our gate for the connection flight, the gate said it had moved to another section of the airport. We barley made it to the connection flight, and overall we were very stressed. We asked about taking a later time for the second connection flight, but the other option was much later and we would have to wait at the airport for 9+ hours. I just wish American Airlines could have moved the second connection flight to a later time too for its customers, and thank you for taking the time to read my review.
The airline schedule services was simply mediocre. The ground crew is fine; they are doing their best. The after-delay services were simply poor, and after-cancelling services were almost non-existence. Receiving refund is one rescuing point, but please keep in mind that, people wants to get home or get to their destinations. Cancelling without aftermath recourse is simply poor services. AA needs to fire the marketing department, and the customer-service related leaders.
Awful. We had an 8 hour mechanical delay- no vouchers and no kind/courtesy/professional representatives in the entire airport. Not only was it a terrible experience for both my 7 year old and myself, I still have not heard back from American about how they’re going to correct it- I’ve sent 2 or 3 emails about our experience- which was just awful. Not to mention according to national traveling laws, we should be reimbursed… but of course they’re not responding.
Tray table was filthy when I sat down. I needed to have someone come clean it because there was food and stains on it WiFi didn’t work after paying for in flight WiFi Food was terrible and was not filling at all Chicken was rubbery Flight attendant had an attitude, interrupted me and wasn’t able to answer basic questions about the food selection such as “does the chicken have red sauce in it”. If your flight attendants are not going to know what is in the meals so we can make an educated decision based on dietary restrictions, they shouldn’t be on the plane. My 1.5 year old niece was sleeping and dropped her binkie. I went on the ground under the chairs looking for it. It was at that time that she came up to me as I’m CLEARLY on all 4s with a flashlight and said “I need to get by”. I said one moment please I’m getting something from under the seat (while my head was literally under the seat). Her reply was “no you need to move now” and proceeded to almost push me out of the way. I looked up and all I saw was her toes under my eyes. When I looked in front of me, her private parts were inches away from my face. I then made a comment “you couldn’t waited 2 seconds?” and her response was, “no I need to use the bathroom”. I understand that and would never want to be the reason someone couldn’t get to the bathroom but I was under the seat. She could’ve gone around the other way instead of harassing me, basically placing her private parts on my head and borderline pushing me out of the way. You don’t pay (especially this much) for this deplorable experience. This was by far the worst experience I have ever had on American. I will be absolutely thinking twice and thrice about flying American Airlines again. I would rather pay more to fly delta because at least I know their WiFi will work and their flight attendants won’t have a terrible attitude for no reason, nor will they act the way this woman did.
