Pros:There are a couple of things to be aware of, but I would recommend this hotel overall and stay there again for sure. * Great location - very near to train station (Wynyard Station which you can get to and from the airport in a short amount of time without changing trains). * Very friendly and helpful staff - I was changed to a room on the second floor and with a better aircon * The room was starting to age, but still excellent for the price and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and modern.
Cons:* I didn't use the wifi or have to walk up 4 flights of stairs so can't comment on that. * The room isn't all that sound proof, and you can hear house cleaning banging on other people's doors quite easily from 7.30am onwards so maybe bring some ear plugs. * There was no powerpoint within easy reach of the bed, so difficult to charge your mobile on the bedside table. Firstworldproblem, but just so you know...
