Pros:Very close to 2 T lines,within 5 mins walk (green-Arlington and orange-Back Bay). Also lots of shops and restaurants are only a couple of minutes walk away as well.Hotel is really nice and value for money.It is very clean,and the rooms are spacious and comfortable.

Pros:The location was excellent - just a short walk from Boston Commons, Copley Square, the Green and Orange T lines and commuter lines, and several great restaurants. The room was cozy and provided the necessary amenities and the bed was very comfortable. Heather the concierge went above and beyond our expectations in handling our requests and helping out with some post-Boston Marathon logistics. All of the staff from check-in to the housekeeping staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The hotel displayed the charm of a historical building but with all of the necessary modern conveniences.
Cons:The elevators were a bit small and we had to pass one up at times when there were more than a couple of people waiting or when they were full. The lobby was a bit small and was a bit of a bottleneck during and after check-in. The Precinct bar had a good energy and good drink selection but the food and desserts were just okay (we did not get a chance to try the restaurant). We wish there was a pool or hot tub, which would have been perfect for post-race recovery.
